Separating Self from Needless Suffering While Not Being Dismissive

Hi y'all, I am mostly an outsider to this subreddit but want to see if anyone has advice or experience in this situation I'm in. My partner is a practicing Buddhist and stoic, and has boiled down many conversations I try to have on my concerns as needless worry and therefore not a conversation worth having. I'm continuously feeling dismissed. I'm wondering if these differences (in communication style/ degree of observance in the belief all worry is needless) can be amended. I completely understand how worries harm us more than serve us, but I need a way to have that message delivered in a way that's not dismissive and full of blame. Has anyone ever came across literature or resources that discuss what it means to act empathetically while communicating that philosophy?

Thank you for y'alls time
