Learning about Buddhism

I’ve been trying to find a path to follow for quite sometime now. I am doing a project for English class where you take a piece of an article or anything, and you paraphrase it then summarize.

I chose Buddhism. It is a bit confusing to me, but I have the paraphrase of what I chose written if anyone would be willing to look over for me to see it it’s correct? Thank you
