How to embrace emptiness without feeling hopeless.
I've been practicing Buddhism for a few years now and the notion of emptiness is very central to my lifestyle. That being said, although the notion that all things are empty bring me immense joy and freedom, it sometimes makes me depressed. I guess my question is, how do I embrace emptiness without feeling like everything I do is pointless? I know that everything I do is pointless in the grand scheme but when it comes to having motivation to do anything I feel that emptiness diminishes my drive.
