Request to r/Buddhism mods - a sticky thread or weekly thread for people new to Buddhism

It seems like every day there's a post from someone new to Buddhism who wants to know where to start. As wonderful as it is to see all these folks interested in Buddhism, it's not particularly useful to most people in this community to have the same conversation over and over. There is a lot of helpful info in the sidebar, but for whatever reason, a lot of people don't look there - or perhaps they do and feel overwhelmed by it and just want to get advice from individual subscribers. Perhaps if r/Buddhism had a sticky post or a re-occurring weekly post where people new to Buddhism could ask questions or easily scroll through q&a's of other users, we could eliminate the redundant posts while still retaining the content and providing an easy way in to new folks. Just a thought!
