How to incorporate a Buddhist lifestyle + public speaking advice

What could people incorporate from Buddhism into their life to improve their well-being? I also get very anxious and feel very sick before having to speak in front of an audience, I run through thoughts in my head saying "its fine, it won't kill me everyone else is nervous about speaking too but it doesn't help me from feeling sick, if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.
