Can you help me understand desire being bad?
This might be me being an idiot and just missing the point completely, but I'm struggling to see how having desires is a bad thing. For an example we all want to follow Buddhism so we all have the desire to learn more about it, or to meditate more. Some people have the desire to be nicer, or to quirt doing harmful things, or to earn more money so they can look after their family or themselves . So can someone please explain this to me, thank you.
