'Lust for Existence' as a fetter
Hello all. I'm fairly unfamiliar with Buddhism but am perpetually curious. I recently heard that in some scriptures in Theravada Buddhism 'Lust for Existence' is named as one of the fetters tying people to samsara, and I'm a little curious as to what exactly that means, and how attempting to move beyond that plays out as it seems a good deal more abstract than other things I've seen named as fetters.
