Buddha said that his teaching wouldn't be useful after 8 generations?
I read in a Falun Dafa book that the Buddha stated that after eight generations, there would be no point in trying to pass on his teachings on anymore because the interpretation of his words would become increasingly inaccurate by his lineage. Is this true? Does anyone have a source for this?
