For converts, what is the hardest concept you have come upon in Buddhism to believe in or understand?
A question more out of curiosity than anything else. I was raised a Catholic where the concept of the soul is a very big part of the belief system. I did not find it difficult to see the sense of the lack of a creator God like the Abrahamic God is, but the lack of soul in Buddhism is one that I find extremely hard to integrate.
Although not really a soul I do feel like there is a type of essense that connects all of us and that is what I cant seem to let go of
