Practicing dry insight
Hi all,
I have decided, for the sake of simplicity, to go on with practicing purely dry insight. I understand that, while this is a way to obtain the level of stream-entry, it will not be sufficient in order to reach the higher stages of enlightenment.
So my question is regarding how to practice this properly. I am trying to remain mindful throughout experience, and it is certainly developing the qualities of concentration, and mindfulness. But i am not fully convinced on the noting because i feel like that is conceptualizing the experience, rather than simply being mindful, if that makes sense.
Also, how should one practice a formal sit if their practice is dry insight? I think it does not matter whether you sit or are simply doing your day to day activities while on this route.
Is there a comprehensive guide for newbs on this? And do i have to constantly contemplate the fall of everything, as well?
Thanks.
