Thinking about buddhism
I'm an atheist (kind of ex-protestant). I think buddhism is... plausible, at least, because Siddhartha Gautama did not claim a god or other divine creator, and that man is his own master. I've always been looking for answers about life, and I've always been afraid of death, because of the possibility that it might be the end, and I've always thought about where I came from, about where my mind or soul was before it was in my body.
I've been trying to learn about buddhism. Can anyone give me a quick overview of essential teachings, traditions, objects, etc? Thankyou in advance, and have a nice day.
