Buddhist View on the Ethics of Drug Incarceration?
For a research paper I haven chose to talk about the unethical treatment on people addicted to drugs and how prison can have a negative affect on non-violent drug users. I was wondering if someone could give me a Buddhism perspective on the use of drugs/ treatment on addicts who cannot help themselves. Apologies if this topic is very niche' but I would love to know the Buddhist view. Thanks.
