Views on attaining knowledge
So this is something I have been wondering about for a while now, and haven't quite found an answer I'm satisfied with yet. What is the Buddhist stance on attaining factual knowledge? Since you aren't supposed to label things you see with words/things you think you know about them, what is the point in attaining further knowledge? I have this book about philosophy I'm very interested in but have put off reading because of this question I ask myself.
