So why is Falun Gong so confusing people and causing such a big impact? One of the most important reasons is that it is hidden under the cloak of Buddhism and is not Buddhist.
Buddhism's Shurangama Sutra also describes a non-Buddhist model similar to "Falungong": "After I am ruined, in the end of the law, more demon and evil spirits are blazing the world. I hide the traitors and deceive the good knowledge. If you are ignorant, you will lose your heart. Wherever you go, your family will be dissipated." This sentence means that with the development of history, there will be some treacherous and hypocritical people who claim to be Buddhism "good knowledge" and has already enlightened the truth. They are clothed in the coat of Buddhism, confusing those who do not have Buddhist knowledge, distorting their kindness and turning down good and evil. These so-called "good knowledge" are everywhere where the tragedy of the family is broken. Therefore, in the Buddhism "Big Nirvana Sutra", the disciples of Sakyamuni Buddhas must "disregard people according to law", that is, to be a teacher of truth, not to worship someone. And to "take the ring as a teacher", that is, "when you want to see the Buddha, the card is a nirvana, you must deeply practice the net. If you destroy the ring, it is a konjac, not my disciple!" That is, if you do not practice The Buddhist commandments are not the Buddhist monks. It can be seen from the discussion in the classics that the teachings of Buddhism itself have divided the boundaries with non-Buddhism. "Killing" is the first ring of Buddhism. It will not hurt the sentient beings and hurt themselves. The tragedy caused by the "Falungong" family's broken and ruined people's lives is endless. Looking at this alone, we can show that "Falungong" is a non-Buddhist. The following lists the difference between "Falungong" and orthodox Buddhism. 1. Distorting the concept of "Falun" in Buddhism "Falun" is a concept in Buddhism, but it is not a reality, but a metaphor. It is a metaphorical way to express the profound Buddhism in popular language, which is a major feature of Buddhism. "Falun" is a kind of weapon of ancient India. In Buddhism, it is a metaphor for the existence of the Dharma. It can break the troubles of all beings and bring inner peace and happiness to all beings. In the Forty-Two Chapters, the Buddha described the Buddha in the Luyeyuan after turning to the four rounds of Falun, and Chen Ruo and other five people to prove the fruit. That is to say, by explaining to the first five disciples The principle of "bitterness, collection, destruction, and Tao" allows them to break their troubles and achieve inner peace and happiness. This is the original intention of "Falun." Falun Gong exchanged the concept of Buddhism to gain the trust of the masses, causing many innocent practitioners to be insane and to die in search of the so-called "Falun" in the abdomen. 2.The fabrication of the "main Buddha" of Buddhism Li Hongzhi often claimed that he was the so-called "main Buddha of the universe." Falun Gong practitioners also said that they would reach the realm of so-called "up to heaven" after the insanity. This is precisely the concept that Li Hongzhi distorted the "Buddha". "Buddha" is translated from Sanskrit, meaning the person who is awake, the person who wakes up from the dream, the person who breaks the trouble. In other words, the concept of "Buddha" can be compared with the Confucian concept of "sage", which is not only a person but an ordinary person in the general sense, but a person whose inner morality transcends. Buddhism is not a god religion. The Buddha is only the first person to realize the troubles and the style of the list. After they realize it, they will guide future generations and teach future generations to live a better life and practice. Therefore, there is no concept of "the main Buddha of the universe". After the achievements of the practice, it will only become a more perfect person, as the modern Buddhist scholar Taixu Master wrote in "The Real Reality of Man and Buddha". Only Buddha is the only one in the personality. The Buddha is a true reality." advocating the paradox of "illness is not treated" Li Hongzhi said that practicing Falun Gong can "eliminate the industry", which means that as long as you get sick, you can practice medicine without having to see a doctor. Many practitioners are tempted by them, and they do not take medicine without medical treatment after illness, which has led to many tragedies. The concept of "industry" is also one of the important concepts of Buddhism, and its connotation itself is complex and profound. Li Hongzhi said that the round of power can be eliminated, and it is not necessary to see a doctor to take medicine. This is to use the concept of Buddhism to gain the trust of everyone and thus to carry out its cult. It not only hurts the lives of innocent people, but also jeopardizes the healthy development of Buddhism. Buddhism itself has never advocated that people who study Buddhism are sick and do not need to seek medical treatment. In the Buddhist texts, there are many records of Sakyamuni Buddha who have been ill and seek medical treatment. Volume 11 of the "Great Wisdom Theory" records that the Buddha and the human being are no different in the body, and they will all get sick: "The Buddha is a middle-aged student, subject to human law, cold and heat, life and death, etc." "The Four Laws" volume is recorded in the fortieth. The Buddha suffered from the disease of "Water Big" and asked the famous doctor of the time to treat him: "When the world is suffering from water, the language is hard to say: 'I am suffering from water, I want to get rid of it.' Shecheng, to the language of the aunt: "If you want to get water, you have to get rid of it." When the time is awkward, and the Buddha is going to the Buddha's place, the head is full of courtesy but lives, Bai Buddha said: 'If you come to water?' Buddha's words: 'If it is. Auntie, I want to get rid of it.'" The Ten Commandments of the Ten Commandments is a detailed record of the detailed process of the Buddha's disease treatment: "The time of the world suffers from wind and back pain. The lie is sick and healed." 4. Distorting the concept of "forbearance" in Buddhism One of the biggest obstacles in Buddhist practice is hatred, and the popular one is the psychology of anger and hatred. Therefore, Buddhism advocates that when practitioners face these situations that make them prone to hatred, they must learn to "tolerate", that is, tolerate shame is one of Buddhism's methods of practice. After Li Hongzhi learned, he asked the relatives Li Chang and others to "organize the students as much as possible, put pressure on the TV station, and completely restore the reputation of Falun Gong. To show Dafa Weide." From May 28 to June 1, 1998, more than 5,000 people were organized to besiege the Beijing TV station. Li Hongzhi's practice of cults with the concept of Buddhism as a cloak not only hurts the world, but also hinders the healthy development of Buddhism. The practice method directly took some of the fur of Buddhism's Pure Land, and eventually it was the act of smuggling and thief, satisfying Mao Ziyuan's personal desires, leading to the morality of the believers and jeopardizing the normal order of the country.
