feedback request: A layman hears the teachings, resists, accepts and decides to learn more.

Hi, because a few people have requested it I'm working on a book about Buddhism, particularly the 12 step version of the eightfold path. The first step slightly modified is the topic.

I really want to make it accessible and pleasant, and know that you and other redditors can give some good critical feedback to help make that happen.

I've completed the first chapter and would like to get some community feedback on it to see what you think of it.This early feedback will help steer how I'll modify it and write further chapters also.

If you don't have half an hour to read or listen to the first chapter which is currently about 6.5k words.
Then another way you could help would be to share the story about:

• How did you first learn about Buddhism?
• What doubts did you have about it?
• and Why you decided to follow Buddhism after all?
